Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Pick Up From Kigali And Transfer To Kibale Forest National Park
Depending on your location in Kigali, you will meet the safari guide who will brief you about the safari. After the briefing, you will start the journey to Kibale National Park. The journey takes 6 to 7 hours, passing through the Katuna border in Kabala with lunch en route. On arrival, you will check into your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 2: Chimpanzee Trekking And Transfer To Queen Elizabeth National Park
In the early morning after breakfast, you will be transferred to the park’s headquarters for a briefing. After the briefing, you will be grouped into 6 people, and you will be allocated a chimpanzee family to track. The chimpanzee trek takes 30 minutes to 4 hours. And once the chimpanzees are located, you will spend an hour with them as you watch them play, hunt, breastfeed and feed as you take pictures and record moments as well. After the trek, you will return to the lodge and freshen up, as well as have lunch.
After lunch, you will check out of the lodge and embark on the journey to Queen Elizabeth National Park. On arrival, you will check into your lodge for an evening of relaxation, dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 3: Morning Game Drive And Afternoon Boat Cruise
After lunch, you will go for an amazing boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel, a water body which connects Lake George and Lake Edward. The boat cruise takes 2 hours, and you will spot animals such as elephants, buffaloes, warthogs and waterbucks drinking water along the shores and view hippos and crocodiles in the water and water birds such as papyrus gonoleks, pelicans, African skimmers, African spoonbills and fish eagles, among others.
After the boat cruise, you will return to the lodge for relaxation, dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 4: Transfer To Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
After morning breakfast, you will check out of the lodge and embark on the journey to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. You will pass through the Ishasha sector in Queen Elizabeth National Park, where you will spot the tree-climbing lions lying up in the fig tree branches.
After the game drive, you will have lunch and then proceed with the journey to Bwindi National Park. On arrival, you will check into the lodge for relaxation, dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 5: Gorilla Trekking
After morning breakfast, you will be driven to the park’s headquarters for a briefing. After the briefing, you will head into the forest in search of the mountain gorillas. The trek takes 30 minutes to 7 hours, and once the Uganda gorillas are located, you will spend an hour with them as you watch them carry out their day-to-day activities, as you take pictures and record moments.
After the trek, you will return to the lodge for an evening of relaxation, dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 6: Transfer Back To Kigali
After having a relaxed breakfast, you will check out of the lodge and embark on the journey to Kigali. On arrival, you will be dropped off at the international airport for your flight back home or any place of convenience.
