Detailed itinerary
Day 1: Transfer to Bwindi impenetrable national park
You will meet with the guide at a hotel in Kampala on the first day of the Uganda safari, and he will transfer you to the Bwindi impenetrable national park. You will have a stopover at the equator monument for pictures and then proceed with your journey. You will stop at Igongo Cultural Center in Mbarara to learn about Ankole history and culture through its exhibits. You will then proceed to a hotel in Mbarara and have lunch.
You will then proceed to Bwindi impenetrable national park and it’s where you will spend the night and have dinner.

Day 2 : Gorilla trekking
You will have breakfast early in the morning at the lodge in Bwindi impenetrable national park. The guide will then take you to the park offices for a briefing. The park wardens will inform you on how to conduct a gorilla trek. You will head with the ranger guide to the forest to search for the gorillas. You will come across various wildlife species in your search for the gorillas. The gorilla trek may take approximately 1–7 hours. The duration depends on the location of the gorillas in the forest. After the gorillas are spotted, you will have an hour to observe them with a guide. You will then take photos and the guide will transfer you back to the lodge.
In the late evening, you will have dinner and then go to rest.

Day 3 : Transfer to Queen Elizabeth national for a boat cruise
You will wake up as early as possible, have breakfast at the lodge in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, and then check out. We will then transfer you from Bwindi Impenetrable National Park to Queen Elizabeth National Park. You will have an enroute lunch and then you will proceed to the park.
Once you arrive at Queen Elizabeth national park, you will be briefed at the park headquarters, and then you will head for an afternoon boat cruise at kazinga channel. You will spot aquatic animals like the hippos and the crocodiles. You will also see other animals taking water at the shores like the buffaloes, elephants, warthogs and others. There are also several bird species that you will spot while at Kazinga channel.
After the boat cruise of about 2 hours, you will return with the guide to the park offices, where you will receive a lodge for your overnight stay. After checking in, you will have dinner and then head to bed.

Day 4 : Morning game drive and transfer to Kibale national park
You will have breakfast and then head to the park headquarters for briefing. After the briefing, you will head for a morning game drive with an armed ranger guide. You will get the chance to have a glimpse at the various wildlife in Queen Elizabeth national park. You will see the animals rising from their habitats as the sun rises. You will spot animals like buffaloes, elephants, giraffes, lions, leopards, warthogs, bush pigs and many more, as well as various bird species. You will then head back to the lodge and check out.
You will then set off to Kibale national park with an enroute lunch. Once you arrive at the park, you will check in to a lodge, take a bath, have dinner and retire to bed

Day 5 : Chimpanzee trekking and a nature walk
You will have breakfast in the morning and then head to the park headquarters with the guide for briefing and thereafter set off for a chimpanzee trek. The chimpanzee trek will take about 30 minutes to 4 hours. After spotting the chimpanzees, you will have one hour with them. You will catch them as they feed, play, and do all their activities.
After the lunch meal, you will relax and then later head to the park headquarters for a briefing before you go for a nature walk where you will see several birds and animals at a closer range.
After the nature walk, you will be transferred back to the lodge, and you will relax as they get your dinner to you. After dinner, you will retire to bed.
Day 6 : Depart to Kampala
On the last day of the safari, you’ll have breakfast and the guide will take you back to Kampala.
