Detailed itinerary
Day 1: Transfer to Fort Portal and visit the hot springs
On the 1st day of the 5 days hot springs, chimp tracking and game safari, you will meet with the guide at Entebbe airport, and you will go through the Uganda safari details. The guide will transfer you to Fort Portal with an enroute lunch at a hotel. You will head to the hot springs for a visit. You will be able to see the female and the male hot springs, with other amazing views of eggs boiling at these springs. After the visit and seeing numerous attractions, you will head to a hotel in Fort Portal, where you will have dinner and spend the night.
Day 2: Chimpanzee tracking in Kibale National Park and Bigodi swamp walk
On the 2nd day of the 5 days hot springs, chimp tracking and game safari, you will have breakfast very early in the morning at a hotel, and then the guide will transfer you to Kibale National Park. You will be briefed at the park headquarters once you arrive. You will get information on what to do and not do when chimpanzee tracking. You will then set off with the guide to the forest to track the chimpanzees. You will have 1 hour to spend with the chimpanzees, and it takes about 30 minutes to 4 hours to locate the chimpanzees. You will take pictures and videos of the chimpanzees as you make your observations about them. For example, how they play, feed and many more.
The guide will drive you to a lodge where you will have lunch, and then you will relax at the lodge. Later in the day, the guide will drive you to the Bigodi wetland. At Bigodi Wetland, you will have a swamp walk, and you will also encounter the primates and birds at this wetland. You will also see the plant species and vegetation at this place. After enjoying the nature and cool environment at the wetland, you will be taken back to the lodge for dinner and a night’s rest at the lodge.

Day 3: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park and a boat cruise on the Kazinga channel
On the 3rd day of the 5 days hot springs, chimp tracking and game safari, you will have breakfast at Kibale National Park at the lodge. The guide will then drive you to Queen Elizabeth National Park. You will have an enroute lunch at a hotel before you continue. After lunch, you will arrive at Queen Elizabeth National Park, where you will check into a lodge.
The guide will transfer you to the park headquarters for a briefing about a boat cruise on Kazinga channel. You will conduct the boat cruise with a guide, and it will take about 2 hours. You will have views of the crocodiles and hippos. Along the water banks, you will see animals taking water, and these animals include the elephants, buffalo, warthogs and many more. The guide will drive you to the lodge, and you have dinner, then you rest.

Day 4: Morning game drive and guided nature walk
On the 4th day of the 5 days hot springs, chimp tracking and game safari, there will be breakfast that you will be given at the lodge, and then the guide will drive you from the lodge to the park headquarters. You will be briefed by the guides on the rules and regulations to adhere to while on a morning game drive. You will then be allocated a guide to escort you. You will get the opportunity to see the animals in Queen Elizabeth National Park in the morning as they rise in search of food from their habitats. You are most likely to see 4 of the big five animals at Queen Elizabeth National Park during the morning game drive. The animals include the buffaloes, elephants, leopards and lions. Apart from the 4 of the big five, you will see others like the bushbucks, warthogs, bush pigs and many more. You will be transferred back to the lodge and have lunch after relaxing.
After briefing at the park headquarters, you will be given a guide to take you on a guided nature walk. On the nature walk, you will have the chance to see the birds that are in Queen Elizabeth National Park. You will also spot primates and other mammals while on the nature walk. This enables you to have a glance at these wildlife species at close range. The guide will drive you back to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 5: Depart to Kampala
On the 5th day of the 5 days hot springs, chimp tracking and game safari, you will have breakfast in the morning at the lodge in Queen Elizabeth National Park. You will then check out of the lodge. The guide will drive you back to Kampala. On the way to Kampala, you will stop at Igongo Cultural Centre in Mbarara for lunch and proceed to the equator monument for pictures and souvenirs. You will proceed to Kampala and stop at the hotel.
