This is a 4 days safari to Kibale and Semuliki. This Uganda safari consists of a number of activities that one can engage in while at Kibale National Park and Semuliki. At Kibale National Park, you will engage in a chimpanzee trek where you will meet the chimpanzees in Kibale forest and spend 1 hour with them. You will have a Bigodi swamp walk on day 1 of the safari, and on the 3rd day, visit Sempaya hot springs. You will have a nature walk, and then you will be returned to Kampala on the last day of the safari.

Detailed Itinerary For The 4 Days Kibale And Semuliki
Day 1: Transfer to Kibale National Park for a Bigodi swamp walk
On the first day of the 4 days safari to Kibale and Semuliki, our company representative guide will meet you at Entebbe Airport, and you will share details about the 4 days safari to Kibale and Semuliki. You will then start the journey to Kibale National Park, which will take about 5 to 6 hours. You will have a stopover for lunch and then proceed to the park. You will arrive and check into a lodge, and relax.
The guide will take you on a Bigodi swamp walk. The Bigodi swamp walk will take about 2 to 3 hours. You will have nature and wildlife sights. You will spot several primate species and birds. You will view the vegetation covers and landscapes. The guide will transfer you back to the lodge. You will have dinner at the lodge, and then you will retire to bed.

Day 2: Chimpanzee trekking and transfer to Semuliki National Park
On the second day of the 4 days safari to Kibale and Semuliki, you will be served breakfast, and then the guide will take you for a briefing about how you are supposed to behave while chimpanzee trekking and what to expect. You will start the chimpanzee trek from the Kanyanchu visitors centre. You will have the company of an armed ranger guide, and you will trek for about 3 to 4 hours to find the chimpanzees. You will spend 1 hour with the chimpanzees after spotting them, as you observe their lifestyle and how they behave. You will capture pictures, and then the guide will return you to the lodge for lunch.
After lunch, you will check out of the lodge, and the guide will transfer you to Semuliki National Park. You will get there in the evening, and you will check into a lodge for relaxation. You will then be served dinner, and you retire to bed.

Day 3: Visit to Sempaya hot springs and a nature walk
On the third day of the 4 days safari to Kibale and Semuliki, you will be served breakfast early in the morning, and then you will be picked up from the lodge by the guide. You will go for a visit to the Sempaya hot springs. You will have the chance to see the male and female springs. You will be able to boil eggs and these springs, and also engage in numerous activities. The guide will take you for a lunch break.
You will have a nature walk that will expose you to several bird species and the vegetation covers. You will spot wildlife at close range. The guide will then take you back to the lodge for dinner and your night’s rest.

Day 4: Transfer to Kampala
On the last day of the 4 days safari to Kibale and Semuliki, you will be served breakfast, and then, you will check out of the lodge. The guide will pick you from the lodge and transfer you to Kampala, which will take about 6 to 7 hours. You will have a stopover for lunch, and then you will proceed. You will arrive at a hotel in Kampala, and that will be the end of the safari.
