You will visit Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary on the 3 days Kibale Forest National Park safari, and you will explore the wildlife and eye-catching scenery at this sanctuary.

Day 1: Transfer from a hotel in Kampala to Kibale National Park and a Bigodi swamp walk
Our Chopper Tour and Travel representative driver guide will transfer you from a hotel in Kampala, and you will start the journey to Kibale National Park. The journey to Kibale National Park will take about 5 to 6 hours. You will have a stopover in Fort Portal town for lunch and then proceed to Kibale National Park. Upon reaching Kibale National Park, you will check into a lodge, and you will relax.
The rest of the afternoon will be spent at the lodge, relaxing as you prepare for the activities you are to engage in the following day. In the evening, you will have dinner and then retire to bed.

Day 2: Chimpanzee trekking and a Bigodi swamp walk
Breakfast will be had at the lodge. After having breakfast, you will head to the Kanyachu visitors centre for a briefing. You will be briefed about chimpanzee trekking, and you will get to know how to behave while chimpanzee trekking and what to expect. You will leave the Kanyachu visitors center to start Uganda chimpanzee tracking, and you will be escorted by an armed ranger guide. You will search for the chimpanzees, and this will take about 2 to 4 hours, depending on their location and movements. You will spot the chimpanzees in their habitat and spend about 1 hour with them. You will have the opportunity to see them play, feed and much more. You will capture pictures and videos of the chimpanzees and then head back to the lodge for lunch.
In the afternoon, you will leave the lodge and go for a Bigodi swamp walk, which will last for about 2 hours. You will have views of the beautiful landscapes, primates, birds and many more. You will have the company of a guide as you explore Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary. You will then head back to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 3: Transfer back to Kampala
Breakfast will be served to you at the lodge when you rise from bed. After having breakfast, you will check out of the lodge. The guide will meet you at the lodge, and you will embark on the journey to Kampala. You will have a stopover for lunch at a hotel in Fort Portal town. After lunch, you will proceed to Kampala. Arriving in Kampala will be followed by a drop-off at a hotel.
