3 Days Kibale Chimpanzee Tracking Safari: Kibale National Park is Uganda’s primate capital, which shelters about 13 primate species. Kibale National Park is situated in the western region of Uganda, and this Uganda safari takes you to this park to have a glance at the habituated chimpanzees. You will visit Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary while on the 3 days Kibale chimpanzee tracking safari, and you will explore the wildlife and amazing scenery at this place.

Day 1: Pick up and transfer to Kibale National Park for a Bigodi swamp walk
Our Chopper Tour and Travel representative driver guide will transfer you from a hotel in Kampala, and you will start the journey to Kibale National Park. The journey to Kibale Park will take about 5 to 6 hours. You will have a stopover in Fort Portal town for lunch and afterwards proceed to Kibale National Park. You check into a lodge, and you relax.
In the late afternoon, you will leave the lodge and go for a Bigodi swamp walk, which will last for about 2 hours. You will have views of the beautiful landscapes, primates, birds and many more. You will have the company of a guide as you explore Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary. You will then head back to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2: Chimpanzee tracking
You will have breakfast at the lodge. After having breakfast, you will head to the Kanyachu visitors centre for a briefing. You will be briefed about chimpanzee tracking, and you get to know how to behave while chimpanzee tracking. You will leave the Kanyachu visitors centre to start Uganda chimpanzee tracking, and you will be accompanied by an armed ranger guide. You will search for the chimpanzees, and this will take about 2 to 4 hours. You will spot the habituated chimpanzees and spend about 1 hour with them. You will have the chance to see them play, feed and much more. You will capture pictures of the chimpanzees and then head back to the lodge.
At the lodge, you will have lunch, relax after lunch and in the evening have dinner. You will then retire to bed.
Day 3: Transfer back to Kampala
You will have breakfast at your own pace in the morning at the lodge, and you will check out afterwards. You will start the drive back to Kampala. You will have an en route lunch at a hotel in Fort Portal, and after that, you will head to Kampala. Upon arrival in Kampala, you will check into a hotel.
