Detailed itinerary for the 3 days Gorilla and Chimpanzee trekking safari
Day 1: Pick up from Entebbe Airport to Kibale National Park
You will link up with a Chopper Tour and Travel company driver guide who will transfer you from Entebbe Airport, and you will head to Kibale National Park. You will have a number of eye-catching views as you head to Kibale National Park. You will have a stopover at the Amabere Ga Nyinamwiru caves, and you will learn about the history of these caves and get to see numerous attractions.
You will proceed with the journey, and the guide will take you to a hotel in Fort Portal for lunch. After lunch, you will continue to the park. Once you arrive, you will check into a lodge and relax. You will have dinner in the evening, and then you will retire to bed.

Day 2: Chimpanzee trekking and transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
You will have an early morning breakfast, and then you will head to the park headquarters for a briefing. You will be briefed about chimpanzee trekking, and then you will get a ranger guide to accompany you. You will take about 2 to 4 hours searching for the Uganda chimpanzees, and you will spend one hour with them in their natural habitat.
You will observe how they behave in terms of feeding and much more. You will then head back to the lodge for lunch, and after that, you will check out. The guide will drive you to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, and you will arrive in the late evening. You will check into a lodge, freshen up, have dinner and then retire to bed.

Day 3: Gorilla trekking and transfer back to Entebbe Airport
Take an early morning breakfast, and then you will leave the lodge. You will head to the park headquarters with a packed lunch. You will receive details on how to behave while gorilla trekking, and then you will set off to the forest. You will trek for approximately 30 minutes to 7 hours in the forest as you search for the Uganda gorillas. After finding the gorillas, you will spend 1 hour with them in their natural habitat. You will observe them feed, play, and much more. You will head back to the lodge, and you will check out.
After checking out, you will head back to Entebbe Airport for a flight to your home destination.
