Take a wonderful 1 day chimpanzee trekking in Kibale National Park, the primate capital of Uganda and one of the places with the highest concentrations of chimpanzees in Africa. This brief but highly satisfying adventure will take you to the heart of the virgin tropical rainforest, where you will follow the footsteps of chimpanzees and witness their daily activities in the wild together with other primates and forest animals. With the assistance of skilled park guides, this Uganda safari is for tourists who do not have much time but still want to have a genuine wildlife and nature experience in Uganda.

Safari description
You will be picked up from a hotel of your choice by our company representative in Fort Portal town very early in the morning, and after exchanging greetings, you will set off to Kibale National Park. You will then begin with briefing sessions at the Kanyachu visitors centre, where you will be briefed on the rules and regulations to follow while chimpanzee trekking in Kibale Forest.
You will be accompanied by a guide and head to the forest for chimpanzee trekking. You will search for the chimpanzees for about 30 minutes to 4 hours, depending on their location. You will spend one hour with them as you analyse how they play, feed and associate with each other. You will then head back to the park headquarters after the chimpanzee trek, and you will have lunch.
After having lunch, you will go for a visit to Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary for a swamp walk. You will explore this wetland as it rewards you with views of primates, birds, landscapes and many more. You will then head back to Kampala with the company of a driver guide. End of the safari.
