This is a 7 days Uganda and Rwanda adventure to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, Kibale National Park, Queen Elizabeth National Park and Volcanoes National Park. This adventure will expose you to the wildlife in Uganda, particularly in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, Kibale National Park and Queen Elizabeth National Park, plus the gorillas in Volcanoes National Park. While at Volcanoes National Park, you will have a hike to Dian Fossey’s Tomb.

Day 1: Pick up from Entebbe Airport to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Detailed itinerary
Day 1: Pick up from Entebbe Airport to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
You will be picked up from Entebbe Airport by a representative guide from Chopper Tour and Travel. The guide will brief you about the safari, and then you set off to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. You will have a stopover at Kayabwe at the equator monument for pictures.
You will have an enroute lunch at Igongo cultural centre, and then you will proceed to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. You will get to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, and you will check into a lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2: Gorilla trekking
You will have an early morning breakfast, and then you will head to the park headquarters for a briefing. You will meet the guides who will allocate you the gorilla family to meet. You will be given an armed ranger guide to go with you, and then you will set off to the forest. You will spot several wildlife species while searching for the gorillas, and after spotting them, you will have only one hour with them. After spending one hour with them, you will be returned to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 3: Transfer to Kibale National Park for Bigodi swamp walk
You will have breakfast and then check out of the lodge. You will be transferred to Kibale National Park. Upon arrival, you will have lunch at the lodge after checking in. You will then relax at the lodge.
Later in the day, you will go for a Bigodi swamp walk, exposing you to the various primate and bird species that reside in this wetland. You will have views of the landscapes and vegetation. The guide will then take you back to the lodge for dinner and your night’s rest

Day 4: Chimpanzee trekking and transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
You will have breakfast and then be transferred to the park headquarters for a briefing. You will then go for chimpanzee trekking. You will come across a number of wildlife species while on your search for the chimpanzees. You will spend about 30 minutes to 4 hours searching for the chimpanzees, and then you spot them, you will spend one hour observing them and taking pictures of them. You will then be taken back to the lodge. You will have lunch at the lodge, and then you will check out.
The guide will pick you up from the lodge and then transfer you to Queen Elizabeth National Park. You will check into a lodge at Queen Elizabeth National Park upon arrival, and you will have dinner and your night’s rest.

Day 5: Morning game drive and transfer to Volcanoes National Park
You will have breakfast and then go for a briefing at the park headquarters. You will then go for a morning game drive after a briefing at the park headquarters. You will conduct the game drive in the Kasenyi plains. You will spend about 3 to 4 hours while on the game drive, and you will spot animals like the elephants, lions, leopards, buffaloes, Uganda kob, warthogs and many more. The guide will take you back to the lodge for lunch, and you will check out after lunch.
You will then be transferred to Volcanoes National Park in Rwanda. You will cross to Rwanda via the Cyanika border. You will arrive in the evening at Volcanoes National Park, and you will check in for dinner and your night’s rest

Day 6: Gorilla trekking and hike to Dian Fossey Tomb
You will have breakfast and then be briefed at the park headquarters. You will then go for a gorilla trek in Volcanoes National Park, taking about 30 minutes to 7 hours searching for the gorillas. You will spend one hour with the gorillas after finding them, and you will be transferred to the lodge for lunch after observing their behaviours and taking pictures.
After lunch at the lodge, you will go for a hike to Dian Fossey’s Tomb. You will come across several wildlife species, like birds and animals. You will be able to see the Tomb of Dian Fossey and other graves of the gorillas. You will be told about the gorillas by the guides, and then you will be taken back to the lodge for dinner and your night’s rest.
Day 7: Golden monkey trekking and transfer to Kigali Airport
You will have breakfast and then head to the park headquarters for a briefing. You will be told about the dos and don’ts while on a golden monkey trek. You will start searching for the golden monkeys, and it will take about 30 minutes to 4 hours, depending on their location. You will spend one hour with the golden monkeys as you capture photos and videos of them and make observations of how they feed, play, breastfeed and many more.
The guide will take you to the lodge for lunch, and then you will check out. You will then be transferred to Kigali Airport for your flight.
